~ Miner's Encampment ~

Gold Camp Historical Miner's Encampment~ Spend the night in a historic style canvas Miner's Tent and learn how to prospect for gold. Includes steak dinner, and Miner's favorite 'Fire in the Hole' Chilli. Our staff are exceptionally well educated on the local history of the area and expert prospectors and will have many a story and talltale to share around the firepit~ Home of the Annual Best Liar's Award Contest. Gold Panning is available for one and all right on the spot~ This service is available at privately owned Pioneertown Overnite Facilities~

~ The Old Prospectors Hike ~

Day Hikes of the Old Historic Mining Districts are available to individuals seeking recreational activities in our area~ Tinhorn & Diehard activities are available~ From relatively easy hike routes to multi day campouts can insure you a potentially historical and informative adventure~ Individuals should be sure to includes lunch and Snack Breaks and carry plenty of water~ Check with the appropiate government agencies concerning boundries and regulations prior to heading out~

Course, do to ongoing construction, we can't divy up any more deserving details at the moment, but if we hear anything, say somethin, or even see anything suspicious, you will be first to know, trust us!
